Overview

The 5-star deluxe Donnafugata Golf Resort & Spa, which was voted best golf resort in Italy by Condé Nast Traveller in 2012, is situated in southern Sicily near to the UNESCO world heritage town of Ragusa. It offers 202 spacious bedrooms, fine dining, an award-winning spa, two very distinct 18-hole championship golf courses and a state of the art golf academy. 


The Links course, designed by Italian Franco Piras, was recently included in the second edition of the Rolex World’s Top 1000 Golf Courses. Completely different to the Links course, the Gary Player designed Parkland course hosted the 2011 Sicilian Open, which was won by Frenchman Raphael Jacquelin.
